As you approach, you will notice the charming wooden carvings and a stunning metallic idol of Devi, created by the skilled artist Gugga. The temple’s design is simple yet impressive, with stone and wooden walls, and a sloping slate roof supported by beautifully carved wooden posts that lead to the sacred area. Inside, the main idol is a 4 feet 6 inches tall brass statue of Shiv Shakti Devi, holding a lance, a lotus, a bell, and a snake, which represent power, life, aether, and death.
